well, you should learn to post links first...
haha j/k wade-o
I say, you should buy one, and let us all know...
Hehehe.
I actually hope someone has used one of these, though the 70cc seems new? I wouldn't mind something cheap that I could recomend to people who just want a little more push around here.
i guess I'll take one for the team and order one.
For under $100 just go for it. It can't be that bad.
If you do... be nice and post a review, with lots of pics so eveyone can see. Tell us about the install, etc
crackstar
will do
I bought a RGD and a K-STAR a while ago for about 50 euros each. I figured as I blew up other kits I could just slam one of those on. They look of good quality and have reasonably aggressive porting. The exhuast port is 1and an 8th inches from the top of the deck. Has boost ports etc. I am just this week putting a case together for the RGD.
kstars are sweet, but i would NOT recommend the tccd. the cylinder is too short and the piston will hit the cylinder head if you don't use a ton of extra gaskets!
is there seriously a kit (any size) that's under 110 dollars new, or used that isn't crap?
Hey these look great. The RGD is almost exactly the same design as the K-STAR
I'm a little confused.. Is a Kstar the same as TCCD?
K-star is not tccd but close in construction. My other cylinder is RGD new model which apparently was tccd. I will measure to see if they are too short tonight and post the results here for you
kstars are goood.
70cc TCCD's for Puch are nice cilinders. Stock speeds are good and they have great tuning potential. Wall is good quality, goes on for ever and ever. The stock piston is crap tho, I'd throw it away and use another brand 45mm piston.
Conclusion: A lot of bang for the buck.
For the price it seems to be a worth while experiment.

I thought my Gilardoni pistoni was too thin in the crown. I also have a suspicion that these performance pistons are made of pure alu. I think it's silicon and manganese they alloy the alu in 'real' pistons
sorry guys, I pussied out and decided to buy a 65cc metrakit instead. If theres any vital info on these kits that I should know about feel free to post away.
It probably would have worked.
I've dealt with this seller, he's the real deal. Has a whole mess of ped parts. Real straight shooting. I think he said that he has no idea if it's good or not - and he's definitely telling the truth.
I just bought an Estoril from him. Great deal. He's out here in San Fran.
Anyways - he wouldn't try to gyp anyone. Too bad you didn't get it. I've been thinking about getting it for my Magnum.
It wasn't a matter of trusting the seller, I've heard tons of good things about him. It was more a question of the build quality and dependability of the kit. But for 40 more dollars I bought a 65cc metra kit with a high compression head and a new intake.
I just bought the TCCD 70 junx and am expecting it in the mail this week, I have about 6 other projects I'm finishing for other peeps but I assume that I'll have this (Rigid maxi X ped) finished by the end of october, I'll post then
I ran this kit a year and a half ago on my old magnum (now albo's) It was pretty decent. unportmatched with a 15 carb and biturbo i was doing around 43 or so. we switched the bike over to a polini now.

Click on "Cilinders."
"Cilinder, 70cc Nieuw (or oud) model, 45cc Alu/Nic 6 poort, R.G.D. (WAS TCCD)."
Price is interesting too.
If you're wondering why the prices are so low it's because it's in the Netherlands.. So add another 30-40 dollars to that for shipping.
no sir, the $99 TCCD is from TreatsHQ in san francisco.
