what type of motor is it?
The only things i know about the motor is that its a 49.9cc 2 stroke
Remove the end part from the muffler. Remove the airbox and install a small 12v computer fan to blow air into the carb.
Do not do that.
It will make your bike run lean, and hot. 2 great ingredients for a quick seize.
It would also be loud enough to get you arrested.
There is not much available for cadys as far as aftermarket stuff.
It worked fine for me, made it a lot faster.
Are you talking about the piece of pipe that is inside the actual muffler?I wanna take off the airbox for sure and the screens and just run a filter, but im not sure about that exhaust because it is a 2 stroke and they make power according to the exhaust correct?Which bike did you do this to?
And if i get the serial number off the motor will someone run them for me somewhere?or tell me where?Thats if i cant find some manufacturers on the engine
i have a copy of the users manual and the service manual for the cady. the cady is different from all the other motobecanes. if you'd like a copy, i make can you one for a few bucks. if you're interested, email me, don't post because i don't look too often. email me at mopeddave@rogers.com

Yeah, I only mean taking out the part that is inside the muffler. There is another baffle in the muffler. If you take off the whole thing then you will have performance problems. It also helps to keep the engine cool, mine would overheat unless I had it off.
I did it to a '74 Cady
Will an airsal 70cc kit fit the Cady;s m1 Engine. The kit claims to fit model series 7, 40, and 50 motobecanes. I do believe the 7 is similar to the M1
the 7 is very different than the M1. the 7 looks like a 50 or a 40 only with the gas tank at the rear see?
