so today i put a cylinder kit and new carb on my bike. i tried to start it, but it runs for about 5 seconds with no power then dies. i made sure to put all my gaskets in the right spots and it’s still not running. anyone know why?

Did you jet it?
Did you jet appropriately and adjust the idle screw?
Did you put the piston in the right way?
What kit? Look up leak down test.
