My 50v clutch sticks and makes the motor stall when I stop. I pull the clutch off and sandpaper everything and it’s good for awhile but it will happen again. I’m not sure if it’s the starter clutch or the main clutch. Thoughts? Thanks

When you say you cleaned up everything does that mean you are also pulling the back off the variator? I would say get it 100% apart and give everything a good look. You should be able see if anything is messed up. And make sure you grease all of the guts when you reassemble.
Usually it's the starter clutch springs/shoes, did you check those?
I was in a hurry this morning and didn’t really look that great. I forgot to take out the grease fitting before pulling the clutch again too, dang it! Anyway, the starter shoes were stuck and I broke off 3 of the screws holding the assembly to the clutch bell, double dang it! Wish me luck getting those out. Thanks

Oem cs screws are a non standard thread pitch. M4 with a 0.75 metric thread pitch. The standard is 0.70 metric thread pitch. You know the French.
I’m in the same situation, fortunately only broke 1 of them. That tap is $125. at Grainger but you can get one on Amazon and a suitable pilot drill for under $20.
Canceled that order, thanks for the above link Garelli Master (edited)
