Old Sneelock to the rescue!!
Solder works great for pinholes too. Don’t even need to add a patch. You can even use a soldering iron without any issues if you don’t have a torch since gas tank sheet is so thin.
But I generally patch with a sandwiched patch for added strength

Yup. Soldered up a few dozen pinholes in a Bravo tank with a soldering gun. Worked slick, one hole at a time. Then sanded the high spots. Just gotta Bondo & paint now.

I must just suck at soldering, I can’t even get it to stick to a cable. Anyway, The jb weld was working fine and I even put new motor mounts in. New holes kept showing and up and I finally decided the frame was junk. I think the key is prepping the area very well. Big thanks to Randy for the donor frame.

Are you cleaning and then using plenty of flux ?
The trick is to dip in heet or seafoam on the cable presoldering. I also sand it a bit.
