An update on the sealant I recommended earlier in the thread…Unfortunately, the JB plastic bonder has failed. I woke up yesterday morning to the smell of gasoline in the house. My scooter which was in the garage was surrounded by a gas puddle. The sealant let loose from the plastic tank. Lasted about 26 months. 🥲.
Amazingly I just found a 1980 NOS tank with side fuel level guage on EBay.
