^i use it to mend cuts all the time but thought it was developed from an earlier war. couple things i recently discovered about cyanoacrylate is it needs a tiny bit of moisture to catalyze hence it sticking to skin easily n quick. Theres also a buncha different mixes w different properties, quick set spray, releasing fluid and it bonds rubber to metal amazingly.
Also classified as a wicking adhesive because its thin viscosity allows it to pull into the smallest of cracks. (edited)
