90s Ducati cdi box/HT coil combos. Anyone have a pinout?

Terbo Speghetti /

I've got a bike that has good spark, looks like an unmolested stock 90s euro wiring harness.

The Ducati box has three of four leads connected and I'm wondering why/how/who/what/when/where? The missing wire is white (blanco) if that solves it for someone.

The box is identical to these:

The bottom one is a kill switch and the green wire is a fixed ground, but what purpose do the red green and white serve respectively? Is it common for these to just not have a white wire hooked up? (edited)

You've got most of it, green spade is for stator side ground. IIRC, Red is for power from coil, white is trigger (where applicable, a la the Vespa CDI).

In the case that the stock CDI stator doesn't have a trigger, than you can use just the power and it works like the kinetic style field-sensing and should trigger that way.
