Just picked up a Puch Maxi and it has the original light switch and the on / off switch...but both have broken plastic selector pieces.
Do I need to buy a whole new switch or is there a way to work around it?
Thanks!

I have know people to put a wood screw in to help actuate a broken switch. Otherwise just replace them.

Might want to pre-drill a hole for any screw or it might crack apart even more .
Replace them, They can be a real pain to try an fix.get new not used.
3d print new knobs
Where would you find the 3D switch? There probably stronger than stock.
They break as soon as you touch them.

That's a really good ideal, anyone here up for the job?
I think some was making them I not sure. The bases are what break.
I have some that I jb weld together, sanded and painted. Took my like three days
The problem is the switch, is not a simple task & what if it fails at a critical time....
The important thing is what generation of switch do you have?post a picture
Regardless, it's easy to replace with any of the many cheap moped switch assemblies at treatland.tv
I'm partial to the oval chrome CEV switches.
76 maxie, bracing for a ice storm, this will have to wait 4 now. But TU for a lead.
