it’s for drainage so water won’t collect up top or bottom should you ever clean it or go swimming

Awesome thankyou. Was concerned about it and I was hesitant to continue with my rebuild in case it needed to be patched. Hopefully I'll have a successful rebuild after tonight

It's the entrance to the mythical Hobbit kingdom. Don't block it off or they'll all die.
