Cdi ht coil

I am wondering if I can use novi coil in place of the of the le pate coil just to keep things cleaner looking and more factory looking

Novi is a 6 volt ac coil, the ground posts, exterior cracking and a weak coil are the problems. Your call and money, to replace the CDI box down the road.

You maybe can, but definitely shouldn't.

Re: Cdi ht coil

The Novi (or replacement Wovi) style coil will not last very long with the capacitor from the cdi blasting it for every spark. Maybe someone with a 3D printer could print out fake covers that look same-same to a original looking external coil...

Re: Cdi ht coil

Ok so I wired my cdi and am getting spark.. Went to install carb and am getting constant gas coming from carb like float is not shutting off Fuel flow. I don't know what carb this is.i t came with bike. And I did not put cables in......just mounted it to the intake and. Discovered it overflowing...I am including a pic hoping some one can advise. IM THINKING IT IS 180.DEGREES off and float is not functioning correctly

Re: Cdi ht coil

Update straightened carb twisting 20 degrees to right fluel stopped pouring out.

Looks like I need a few adjustments on throttle cable it won’t close completely,,,

This is a brand new engine. Are my cable leads suppozse to come from top as pictured ? By the way am use if turkey baster coil for spark,,, Novi “Wovi” coil is not being used

Thanks

Re: Cdi ht coil

Stressing the f out can't get this pig to start or any indication that it wants too.

I am totally out of ideas.

Tried to pull flywheel off to double check timing the fucker won't come off. Looks some kind of retaining C clip in the flywheel...

Once again looking for some thought s

Thanks
