Bent fork ?

Hi guys,

Bought a super used Honda Sh 125cc from 2012 and i just found a problem in steering.

What happens is when i turn the handlebar to right it's really tight and when turning it to left it's really loose.

I feplaced ball bearings but nothing changed. As much as i tighten the nut right turn gets tighter and turning to left doesn't tighten as much.

Could the fork be bent ?

Yes. That triple tree looks all sorts of fucked up. Grab a replacement and reassemble your forks and you should be good to go. Also dont forget to check the bearing cups for damage as well.

Judging by that damage, someone tried to steal the bike, or did steal the bike at one point. Any twisting/shock damage to the fork lock usually indicates that someone tried/did snap it to roll it away.

This all would have me wondering. Do you have a title or bill of sale for this ped?

Yeah grey card is in my name now. Boght it used from someone couple of months ago then noticed problems in the handlebar. So decided to disassemble.

The scooter never registered ad stolen and when changing the name s owner to mine everything has been checked by the authorities. So it's good for that.
