In a distant galaxy far far away I went to de anza college auto tech I started to remember one of the first we were told was never use carb cleaner to check for vacuum leaks, It will hit the hot engine and vaporize then get sucked in to the carb, always use something that's heavier then air so what doesn't get sucked in will fall away. too many years and too many brain cells.
