Some major vibration that is rpm related doesn't seem to be crank related but I don't know maybe? Not a knock. Ideas?
Vespa Ciao vibration issue
Re: Vespa Ciao vibration issue
Ciao's vibe for every reason. I've found that a big culprit is trans input shaft vibes if your belt's too tight, esp. at hi speed WOT
Re: Vespa Ciao vibration issue
On my bike, I just took the driveline off and put it back on. I have no idea where it came from, but some things tend to loosen themselves or slip themselves, but it fixed itself
Re: Vespa Ciao vibration issue
if your belt is pliable, then take a look at your front clutch bell, where the pulley is machined, I've seen one that was so badly casted, 1/4" off and was very unbalanced.
Re: Vespa Ciao vibration issue
Wasn't a belt tension issue.Kinda puzzled can a bent crankshaft cause these vibes doesn't look bent though?
