Throttle Assembly Clamp Repair?

Is this fixable? It appears to be aluminum, any way to possibly get it welded back up?

I know Treatland sells throttle assembly's but that's 40 bucks I'd rather not spend.

Re: Throttle Assembly Clamp Repair?

Also I forget to mention.if all you need is the perch, that's what the aluminum cast is called, you may just be able to buy that. Cutting your cost in half. Worth checking out.

Re: Throttle Assembly Clamp Repair?

A good welder could probably fix it, but the best welder I know charges a minimum of $30 for the simplest job, just for the set-up fee.

And things that use pressure to clamp them to something don't like being welded back together. Especially cheap pot metal casted things.

Yeah, their is no economical way to save that.

The throttle you buy is going to have to have the push-forward choke as well, not all throttle allow that
