12v wire but 6v ignition. What would happen?

trying to rewire my Cimatti City Bike but I looked at the wiring diagram for the wires I got (Tomos A3) and it says the ignition wiring is for 12v and the Minarelli manual says it has a "6v magneto with 23 watt capacity"

Will I be able to use this wiring on my bike?

The secret is it doesn't matter 6v 12v is interchangeable. Bulbs ht coils regulators. But not necessarily the horn . battery systems exempt.

Best to use and fix the original wiring if youre not experienced in electricity. If you are trying to hardwire it, search here, maybe someone posted a diagram for your bike. Not all mopeds are wired the same, The lighting coils and bulb voltages and wattages that they power make up a balanced system. The bad things that can happen with messing with that is a fire, burned wiring or a never ending game of bulb changing- $$.

He's basically wiring the bike like a Tomos a3 CEV points model. It's just the wires.
