pedal shaft seal

If a pedal shaft seal is damaged, will it just leak or will it interfere with compression and run terrible. Its probably irrelevant but I am referring to a morini engine.

I also have leaks on the rubber from the throttle cable to the carb and a damaged o- ring on the choke so its not easy to troubleshoot if the pedal seal is a problem yet too.

Re: pedal shaft seal

Pedal seal is not an `inleakage of air' problem unless you have bad crankshaft seals.

Re: pedal shaft seal

No. The crankcase isn't connected. You'll leak oil tho...

Depending on the bike you can change it without splitting the cases
