Rebuilt my ZA50 but failed to lube the crank bearings before reassembly. Can I just drip a few drops of two stoke oil down these passages?
That’ll be fine. Just go easy on her when you first start her up.
did u put in new bearings? the oil in the gas lubes your crank bearings. why didnt u dremel your transfer when u had it all apart? too many questions.
Yes, new bearings are in. I dremeled the ports to case match before I reassembled the case, but failed to: a) lube my new bearings; and b) grind down the infamous za50 tab before putting the case together. Dumb. There is a reason I'm not designing rockets. I will likely use the play-dough trick to grind the tab.
a) bearings get lubed by oil in gas. rockets still blow up pretty regularly.
