All the more reason to do it right the first time, that said, my reply was sort of dickish, I spent many yrs with a bicycle as my only means, besides my feet and the city bus. I apologize, but stand by getting the right parts, as it will cost you something if bike fails far from home. No matter how long it takes you, save for a car, then don't buy one, buy a pick up or van so you can still have a moped and recover it if it pukes, it saves a TON having a moped for short trips. I know being poor, I have been since I was 18 and moved out, i'm 52 and still working poor, I know being broke. Be clever. save save and save, but some things like your ride to work deserve the best so as you can depend on it. Used cars/bikes are serviceable and will save you so much money over the long term vs buying new/leasing, but you have to have the basics, good tires, brakes and engine, looks are sooo secondary to function. Again, apologies, I was rude in my reply. At least you did not order from '77 mopeds! :) Sundaymorningmotors.com has lots of good Puch stuff, and I know the owners, they are trustworthy to buy from. They offer used parts too. Worth a look. Best of luck with your bike. Mopeds have become more of a

hobby for me, than day to day rides, but for yrs they were. My mouth goes off before my brain sometimes.
