I've been reading past threads of people rewiring their rides.My Vespa uses AWG 18. Now going to do another one and I'm seeing heat resistant, flexible, silicone, it goes on. Am I reading too much or should I stick to the wire I get from the parts store?
Its mopeds use phone wires if you want just check the resistance factor of the actual harness. If the bike had a cerramic resistor in the tail you might have to ditch it if it don't work. No harm no foul ...
yea I use all kinds of whatever, i've definitely wired with speaker wire just cuz the coupled +/- wire is easy & simple. I save random wires torn outta other bikes, or often just reqire with the same original wires, only simplified
