1977 Batavus Carburetor

Has anyone put a new carb on a 77 Bat VA?? I bought this SHA 12/12 one on ebay and its not going to work because of the choke lever... If any one has put a new carb on a 77 VA, I would like to know exactly what you used and what had to be done. I see the ones listed on treatland that are "compatable" for the laura engine but they all seem to have the same choke set up?

Looks like you bought a China clone.....I think treats has the cable choke version?

You could just run it with the flip choke....

I did buy the cheap Chinese clone... I would fit but where the lever for the choke is makes it in accessible when mounted. I smaller lever might work

Cut the lever down or take it apart and bend it .

Right! I’ll make fit!

Re: 1977 Batavus Carburetor

I used one of those, I think all that had to happen was bending the choke arm 90°
