What is the prize for guessing right ?

Hurry up and have that look . The suspense is killing us . ;)

Re: Garelli bimatc 1974

might have to do something w u switching lights... the garellis ive seen have external ignition ground(look up on myrons page) spark works off stop light circuit, brake switches, reading time. or it could just be your kill switch, or a loose wire, etc.

Re: Garelli bimatc 1974

Update, sparks there, nothing loose in points area, took head off, piston rings ok, still not firing and occasional loose noise still apparent?

Fuels present in the carb, any ideas what to look at next, many thanks.

Re: Garelli bimatc 1974

Plugs is wet with fuel and the noise is mettalic.

Re: Garelli bimatc 1974

spark yes or no? as far as the noise, id take a look under your flywheel, good time to service points. maybe a bolt came loose and is tossing around. you'll need appropriate flywheel puller 19x1 and as always change out that crank seal too.
