So, if you use an actual 21mm spark plug socket with the flat boarders on the top side then you can use a adjustable wrench to do this. If you use a normal smooth sized deep socket you are in trouble. Lesson learned.

13/16 socket and open end FTW—this is what I have to use on my GT185
lowest profile setup
Factory spark plug wrench in the Moby tool bag always worked fine for me.
So FYI a 13/16 offset wrench will work with no mods. Whole set harbor Freight for 15 bucks
