I have a new vinyl seat cover but I'm not sure what kind of glue works best to adhere to the seat pan and vinyl. Any ideas for best results?
What glue do I use to upholster the seat?
Re: What glue do I use to upholster the seat?
Rubber cement in the dark jar. Apply both substrates and let dry, then adhere.
Re: What glue do I use to upholster the seat?
Spray glue/spray contact/brushable contact both sides

I used Super77 and it worked pretty good especially considering how much the foam was deteriorating.

Get the vinyl good and warm so it stretches a bit . Then put it over the foam and pan . Doubtful that you'll pull the fabric apart . You could test on a piece of scrap .
I use a hair dryer to keep the material pliable while working the wrinkles out .

This^^^
If you look closely at the original cover and pan you'll notice that they used nothing more than contact cement. Ive used it with great success on several seat covers.

Yep - contact cement - apply to both surfaces sparingly (dont goop it on) and when it feels tacky on both stick them together.

This tutorial has a shot of the only glue I use for vinyl.
