Gurtner

Anyone know where I can get a complete rebuild kit for this carb off a Moby 50v from 78?

Re: Gurtner

Ditch the gurtner they suck, get a dellorto 15/15 and a 15mm shorty intake.

They can be made to work but most people just replace them. You'll get a nice boost in power as well.

Re: Gurtner

Treatland.TV has the Delorto, may have the rebuild kit for the Gurt, I never looked. I got a Gurt gasket set off E-bay at one time.

Re: Gurtner

Nothing really consumable on the Gurtner except for the oring and the figure 8 gasket under the bowl cover, both are for sloshing fuel and not as a below fuel level seal.

Re: Gurtner

So I dont really need to replace them? How about the strange fuel screen in there?

Re: Gurtner

Treatland has the rebuild kit for the Gurt….includes most of the brass but no float or O-rings......all available separately.

Re: Gurtner

As many carbs as I've had apart , I can't say I've ever seen a piece of brass wear out from fuel passage .(edited)
