I recently discovered that my tomos was modified and not balanced properly. My mechanic suggested trying new jet gages to fine toon it, but it’s still coming out like this. It currently has a #62 jet
Thoughts?
I see no gap .
Zero gap and a bit rich...
Your mechanic should have pointed that one out! Spark plugs need to have a proper amount of gap between the two electrodes at the tip in order for the spark to efficiently ignite the air/fuel mix entering the cylinder. Use a set of feeler gauges or a cheap spark plug gap gauge (coin-shaped) from any auto store. But definitely just buy a new plug and set that one.
what modifications? picts help if u can't identify.

Need a hotter plug! Down jet to #60.
start with the basics and gap that plug then run it and check again.
Could be me but isn't that also a long plug while a tomos takes normal plugs? Would also explain why the plug gap is gone.
Stock a55 runs the ES plugs.
