Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

shoulda posted b4 order, its done

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

somebody who's good can put it on a rod hone and clean it up but it might cost less to buy new one with piston/ring.

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

Alright, thanks.

EH 📣FCC of the QCB /

I would dremil the ports and then run a hone through it. Definitely looks fixable.

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

Agreed . I'd just clean it and chamfer all edges . New piston , rings and run it .

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

yea your major gouges are below the transfers so it's not fucking with timing. as long as you get it smooth enough to not catch a ring and really catastrophically destroy everything, you're OK.

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

Thanks everyone!

I sanded it down and just like that, good as new!

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

How did that happen?

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

What's going on down at the bottom of the bore?

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

Your moped got fked by the long dck of the crank

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

Richard Eberline /

Piston was put in backass wrong, another I want to it.

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

I think one of the piston clips came off and took a tour inside the cylinder

Re: Is my dr cyl done for?

You think it was a circlip? You need to be finding out for sure. Were both the circlips in their positions and accounted for?

That gouge in that port looks to me like something fatter than a circlip. More like a Rod big end needle,

What ever it was could now be sitting in your crank case buying another ticket .
