The tranny oil Is leaking from the left side behind the fly wheel!

I just got this bike so I changed the oil. Maybe I filled it up too much?

That thing is so wet you can't even tell where it's coming from!

That said, it may be your clutch cover that's leaking because the gasket is original.

Re: Puch maxi oil leak help

Looks like it's leaking from just aboot everywhere.

It’s leaking right behind the sprocket! I cleaned it all off and then went for a ride and still leaking!

Re: Puch maxi oil leak help

How much ATF did you put in it? There is a case vent on top of the case just above where that leak is coming down between the frame and the cases... did you just totally overfill it and now it's venting out when it gets hot?

I filled it but not till the point where it was oozing out the fill hole! Should I just wait and keep riding it and just see if it might be too full? I’ll check on it to make sure it doesn’t get too low tho!

It was filled up to the lip of the fill hole!

Re: Puch maxi oil leak help

I believe this bike has a 70cc kit and I’m not too sure if it has a super stuffy crank! Should I get one since the case will be opened up?!

Re: Puch maxi oil leak help

You should remove the cylinder and piston and see if you have a needle bearing in the small end of the conrod, or if you want just open up the cases and see what crank you have. If it's stock I always upgrade if I'm putting on new bearings and seals anyway
