Puch Maxi 1979. The little lever on the clutch cover to actuate the clutch broke in half. I got a new one and installed it into the clutch cover. I had to take the clutch over off to do it. The problem is I don't know how to orient the actuator. See the pictures. It can go a lot of ways but don't know which way. Thanks.

Ps I did look on the wiki and also the shop manual which is not clear.
At rest the flat shot side should rest against the clutch plate it is a little weird but you have to hold it when reassembling so that it doesn't slip

I can try to takeing a photo tomorrow of a few different covers.
I would try to mock it up on the motor to try to find the correct position.
when it's put together right it looks wrong it looks like the little arm is too far forward but that's just the way it is....

There are 2 different actuators,
If you have the small actuator one you may need to get the small one or get different starter plate
Today I got it on there working fine. Actually I had it right the very first time but I forgot to tighten the cable so I thought it was not working. Put it back on today and tightened the cable up a bit and it worked. Thanks all.
