Hi. New here. Finishing up a 76 Hercules p1 moped. It was bought new by a friend and sat in barn for almost 30 years. Running well now but can't figure out how to secure the headlight with the w Spring clip. Do I need more than 1 of these? Only 1 found upon disassembly.

good save. u need atleast 3, stock they come with like 6, duct tape for now

the ends of the W go into bezel. center bulb on nubbie, start on far end, one end, push down n out to attach, adjust bulb, repeat semi equally.

Or : ( this way helps center the bulb in the bazel )

Meant to say I will have to get more clips. I tried putting my one clip in both of those orientations and doesn't seem to fit either. The outer rim of the bulb has 2 steps not allowing the clip to stay in place. Mabey I need counter pressure from another clip on opposite side...will try again once clips arrive. Thanks again for the pics. This thing is a blast to ride...

Got the clips today. Struggled to get them in and now the headline bucket won't fit because the clips prevent the bucket from seating all the way. What am I doing wrong?

Update... Removed several clips and it fits. Only used 3 clips and headlight fits in bucket. Can't use more without interference. Love this frigging moped. Looking for more now... Too bad kids are grown...would have loved this thing.

And , if Dad isn't too old to have interest , then the kids should really get the bug . LOL
