Did you clean the bulb contact? Check ground wire.

What moped?
What wattage and voltage bulb is in it? An incorrect bulb will often barely illuminate.
But we need more information in order to help.

I sometimes test bulbs by rigging up a temporary ground wire, disconnecting the factory ground. You could do the same with the power wire. Make your own hot wire directly from the battery.

You probably have the switch on dim. Or switch the two wires on the connection maybe they are backwards! Good luck.
