A numbers guy eh?

Oxalic acid is an organic compound with the formula C2H2O4. It is a colorless crystalline solid that forms a colorless solution in water. Maxi tank is 3.2 litres or 0.845 US gallons so given the rate of its acidic and chelating properties,if you are mixing oxalic acid (Ethanedioic Acid Dihydrate) powder with hot water at 3 tablespoons to a gallon of distilled water (or reverse osmosis filtered water) you can expect it to derust the tank in 36.5 hours.
