Thou Hast a Scooter
You have this all wrong. Take the one hose and put it where the other hose is. Then take the big red cable and switch it with the black cable. After that you will need to also remove all hose clamps and replace. Pro tip. If you cut that aqua color wire you will gain 10mph on your top end.
Y'all about to give me heartburn.
Calvin, you have a scooter (which some states classify as a moped, I know). The plumbing on your bike is more complicated than the basic mopeds on this site, which have pedals and drum brakes. You're not likely to get any helpful info here, but you WILL get lots of trolling.
Do you know which cable you hooked? You picture shows the carb, but which one do you think might have been snagged? In any case, you might have more luck on a dedicated scooter forum like this one
Find one of those donation boxes and just leave that shit there.
Just guessing here but I see a cable retainer clip just laying on the plastic housing and a hole in what appears to be the air intake, Maybe something broke when you crashed and dropped into the intake? Also go back to the scene of the incident and look around for parts laying on the ground.
If you're gonna come on a moped website asking for help then at least mention that its a Chinese scooter you have. There is a difference and not knowing that here is considered disrespectful. Just saying.
@Calvin,
That hose you're holding up is the drain line from the carb. Unless gas is actively pouring out of it, that's not what's preventing your bike from starting. You need the big three to make it work. Spark, fuel, compression. Make sure you have all three, and if the bike isn't running by that point, consider taking it to a local shop, or doing a fair amount of research on a dedicated scooter forum.
TROLLS!!!!!!!!!
Id sell it asap before the whole scooter cracks in half.
