Starts up, runs. Loud hissing pop

I have a sachs 505/1 and I finally got it running again. I disconnected the decomp valve because but left it in, cleaned the engine, cylinder and carb as well as exhaust and air filter. everything's clean I have fresh type f a new spark plug and the right oil gas mixture. it starts right up. then after about 30 seconds it makes a loud hissing pop sound and instantly dies. what's wrong? I changed the rings, and all gaskets and seals.

Re: Starts up, runs. Loud hissing pop

Where does the sound come from ? Pin point it for clues .

Re: Starts up, runs. Loud hissing pop

Probably the decompression valve.

Re: Starts up, runs. Loud hissing pop

I tightened the cylinder bolts and now it stays running no more pop or hissing thos shit hauls ass they told me it's a 505/1 b but it flies and goes up hills like nothing. my problem now is a lot of smoke out the exhaust when I'm riding.

Double check your oil/fuel mix. Its normal for any moped to smoke more than normal if it's sat for several months or years. Check spark plug to see if it shows excessive oil burning. A partially plugged exhaust will smoke too.

Ride it 20 miles or so before you tear anything apart. You just got it running.

it only starts to smoke like that after about 10 to 15 minutes of riding. I'm not ripping it too much because I just redid the motor. I just leave a trail of smoke after about that time of riding. I use 50/1 mix as indicated on the frame of this beast.

I think the exhaust is caked up the actual pipe maybe. idk though.
