Hello i just bought this bike. It doesn’t have the off and on switch. But it has an ignition with a key in the headlight? The key must not be the proper one because it doesn’t turn. Would that be causing my bike to not have spark? I looked at the points and I ran a little file through and still no spark. Maybe this is the issue?
Hook those two wires together and see what happens, never seen that, maybe the po replaced the kill switch with the key switch?

If that^ does nothing , leave the wires unattached and try .
I tried both and still no spark :/
Did you clean the points? Check the coil? You should be able to pull the kill wire outta your coil and get spark. I imagine that switch is just wired in between the kill connection and ground.
Someone put a non-stock puch magnum headlight not maxi metal can one need to have the metal can headlight and the headlight can needs to be grounded
Search wire for wiring diagrams for your year maxi 2
I cleaned the points. Haven’t checked the coil. Gonna have to dig into the wires and see!
