Brake pads....

Picked up a FREE!! 1976 Puch Maxi-S which is in surprisingly good condition....took me a while to figure out how to start the darn thing, but now that I know it starts up every time....very little rust, too!

Anyway...I need brake pads, but the manuals I have found don't indicate which thickness I need and there are a variety on the parts websites.

How do I know what to get?

Thanks!

Be careful of the dust from the original brake pads, maybe asbestos

if they are Leuleu Drums, they aren't asbestos.

Safety data Sheets, need to look if i can still find them, but Leuleu didn't use Asbestos in 1973-1977. With other Bikes you need to look out, old Simsons were Notorious for having Asbestos Pads.
