Guys, for the life of me, I can't figure out this issue. I have an 89 A3 and whenever I kick this thing over it works fine, but when I try to pedal forward it doesn't catch and turn the chain, which doesn't turn the wheel blah blah. Does anyone have any clue as to what I need to replace? I must have taken this thing apart 3 times by now trying to figure it out...
Maybe rebuilt at some time with some kickstart parts. Maybe the kickstart peanut?
yeah it's called the sprag collar clip and basically it is either in not in the orientation it's supposed to be it's not shimmed properly or your main Drive ramps are all worn out
I don’t think it was converted to a kick, the pedals turn forward but the rod that turns the chain doesn’t.
