I don't think the 40mm push in fuel caps are made anymore. I saw a couple of them for sale but for cost and shipping it would come to 50.00 . I'm thinking of 3d printing one. How should I make the ventilation hole? Should the ventilation hole go from bottom to the sides? Or can I have it go straight from bottom to top?

Treats should have one or two, but they're going to be your basic rubber or plastic caps. I would make the vent so it doesn't go straight through, sort of like a baffle to keep gas from splashing out.
