Replacement Headlight Unit for MB5

Hi folks,

Looking to replace my headlight unit on my 1982 Honda MB5. I have been blowing headlights about twice a year. I would like to move to an LED light or light bar. Just wondering if anyone has done this and what they purchased. I have seen the LED bulb inserted into a bored-out headlight, but I was hoping to find other options out there. Thank you for your suggestions/thoughts/solutions!

Figure out the reason why you are blowing bulbs, it will be a lot less work than wiring in a different headlight.

Is your battery charged and working correctly? This is a common reason why people blow bulbs on mb5's.

It could be a bad regulator too. Honda headlights love them some regulated power.

Thanks, folks. I replaced the battery after some research. Many people indicated that a bad battery could lend to my problems. Cheap enough solution to try.
