Hi, im new here and have some questions...
Just bought tomos with a55 engine in pretty bad condition. Put DMP 65ccm 44mm kit, dellorto 16mm, 72 jet and intake is matched to a carb. As it is reving more than a stock ive put harder clutch springs. I can do 30km/h in 1st gear but when it comes to a second i feel like engine is dead, no power nothing. Top speed 49km/h... Stock engine with 38mm piston top speed 59km/h.
Any solution?
You don't have any clutch pads left on the inner side of the clutch Bell
Yup sounds like ur clutch pads r gone on the 2nd speed clutch

New clutch pads for both gears. Jet 72/75/82 all work fine. Ill try softer clutch spring for 2nd gear.
For that kit I'd stay below 70 on the jet.
I have the whole set 50-90 and 72 is just perfect. I was using 58-60 on stock with open air filter + laser exhaust. Biturbo is on now got it for 30$ brand new :)
oh you're going to laugh about this one try running without your cap on the tank I think your vent is clogged or some such fuel related snafu. If not your piston right?
