Hi, need help removing the connecting rod, do I head up the part where I mark with an “X” and hammer out the connecting rod? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciateb. Thank you!
never done a cady motor but thats what id do, hot hot hot then lightly tap.

^^^ that and try using a deadblow hammer or a rubber mallet to avoid destroying the crank
dead fall hammer down on a block of pine board...
the heat is @ about 200* degrees.
