You have a point, but he did ask how to get it running GREAT, not how do I get it running. In stock configuration, the QT never ran GREAT. It was too fat from the factory to keep the piston cool, the injection system only gave you enough oil to keep it alive for a while, and it would eventually begin leaking down and fill the crankcase with the whole contents of the oil tank.
Sure he can clean, and poke and prod. But the recipe I gave gets it running very well. GREAT if you will.
