Hardly worth cleaning and playing with the carb unless you have a burning desire to keep it all Yamaha factory issue.

I got a clone carb, fuel line and filter from Treats, an oil pump block off from Fast from the Past, and a single carb cable that deletes the splitter and cabling to the oil pump from Parts for Scooters. Move the stock 70 jet from the factory carb to the clone, move the needle clip to the next position up from the middle, and move the factory carb top to the clone with the new cable. The 70 seems fine to me: the QT was pretty fat from the factory. You may want to try a 72.5.

Mix 32:1 premix, ( I like Mystik Sea and Snow, 3.49 a quart at Menards) and go ride.

Sure, lots of good 2T oils out there, this is just what I run, have for a long time, and have zero complaints or issues.
