Replaced the carb, now the back wheel spins very quickly (Video, General 5 Star)

So I replaced the carb (it was leaking excessively from the bowl) on my Minarelli V1 with the exact same carb. Used the same jet and otherwise didn't change anything. I checked all the gaskets, tightened everything and generally gave it a once over. Nothing really seems different but it obviously isn't running right. I attached a video below if it helps. The best I can guess from reading the forums is an air leak. I'm considering putting some gasket maker around where the carb attaches to the intake but I wanted to ask the experts first. Help please! I'm totally new to mopeds. and thanks!

Edit: I cut off the engine in the video (edited)
