Hello, does anybody have an idea why excessive amount of white smoke would come out of my 1977 Batavus VA exhaust after give it throttle? I have recently installed new spark plug, air filter and new gaskets.

Flooding carb can cause it.
Could be anything from running way rich or too heavy on the oil or bad rings or Bad seals...
Probably his Bat doesn't pull oil in thru seals. They have no oil filled tranny.
Oh duh didn’t even realize he said it was a bat. Ha, whoops. Disregard!
just run it for a while to burn off all that sludge inside and outside.
excessive white smoke means we have new pope.
My FA50 is doing this, but I think it's because the entirety of the oil tank shat into the engine and exhaust because it was stored with the petcock on prime...
that would be blue smoke.

FYI : the petcock controls gasoline flow only . Oil flow is controlled by the oil pump .
Even if it was stored with the petcock in prime position , the float valve should have stopped any fuel flow .
seals leaking
drawing tranny fluid into the combustion chamber
clutch side seal leaking
Bad Rings do not make a 2 stroke smoke!
