Believed I was using the correct puller, but when I pulled off the puller after it wasn’t working, it looked like the nut was destroyed and the inner thread destroyed. What did I do wrong and what can I do to fix this?
thats the brass nipple for the variator grease mashed up. ive done it before, i always put on a small washer grease on to kinda make something to twist to save crank. anyways just remember to manually grease, better anyways.
Try to remove the brass fitting, then the puller may reach down in far enough to get into good threads.
