Hit me up if you've got one of these. Working on a rebuild and I have questions.
First off, Daelim (Trac) also made a 2-speed kickstart, DK50. Anyone know if mounts are the same/any parts interchangeable?

I’m actually tearing my dp50 down right now too. Fookin cylinder and piston are all scored up. Not sure why I’m even continuing with it.

Why would scoring make you question your goal ? It can't be any different than having to replace seals and bearings .

How deep are the scores , both piston and cylinder ?
Pics can be deceiving . They don't look all that bad .

I could care less about the scoring right now. It's the bottom end of this thing that is the real pain.

Enough to get blow by. As for persevering with the rebuild, cylinder would need boring out and a new piston. Or I could just kit it with one of those easily obtainable dp50 kits that treats sell, amirite???
Then you have to deal with the final drive gear that has a square hole cut in it that breaks when you look at it the wrong way.
Yeah, not sure about things.
