Tube replacement options?

I am looking to replace the tires on my Puch Newport II with the ones seen in the photos. I am having trouble locating the exact fitting tube for this tire though. The tires are NOS older ones. I was curious what the best option would be to fill out this tire?

Thanks!

Re: Tube replacement options?

It's not an uncommon size, just a little narrower than usual. 2.00-2.25x17. or This one.(edited)

Re: Tube replacement options?

Get rid of those tires. NOS is still 40 years old.

Re: Tube replacement options?

Yeah, like Ryan said, get rid of the tires. Blowin a front tire can hurt you.

Even a rear tire can hurt if you get surprised , which is usually the case with a blowout .

True,PD, just more likely to WOBBLE you to death, unless you're on a curve. I've had three rear blowouts...………….thankfully not on curves.

Re: Tube replacement options?

I had my rear go flat near instantly while cornering.. thankfully I was just going way too fast for parking lot maneuvers in a parking lot. I didn't eat much shit.

Re: Tube replacement options?

TREATS has them for $6.99...(2.00 X 17)

Bad Cadillac™ /

Yeah, don't use those tires. They do not even look like NOS anyway, they look used.

Re: Tube replacement options?

I would definitely use that tire. I would also reasonably expect I might regret it. probably would recommend replacing them if I sold it with those, just so I wouldn't have to feel as guilty if a buyer didn't do that and ate shit.

but yeah, 17x2.0 is available. Also lots of new tires easily available...

21 is the size if you were looking at bicycle stuff, they measure wheel sizes differently
