Puch Maxi Sport 2 Speed Dying @ 75% - Full Throttle

I bought this moped a week ago and it was running like a beast. The other day, I took out the baffle and gave it a quick clean. Today I tried to take it around the block, and it would bog and die at full throttle. I don't have an air filter, one has been ordered.

When I have it running on the kick-stand, I can rev it and it runs @ full throttle.

Why does it die under a load?

Probably Fred /

Air fuel mix off for you need the correct jet to match air-box and snorkle for your bikes hp pipe rating,

If it as me I’d get a performance pipe, filter and up jet carb few sizes and blast

Point cam on flywheel may have went dry wearing down fiber points follower down closing point gap too so always service magneto area, set gap and timing to specs with a new used bike.

Fuel flow can be blocked too so pitch tiny filter in carb banjo fitting and run a inline filter,

Clean petcock too

Or , if you have to haul 'stuff' , at least paint it black .

Even though it's only mopeds , there are standards . LOL

If it ran great all crusted up. And you removed all the gunk and crust. Maybe you just need to down jet.
