Pa50-II cdi to points swap issue.
Yeah I know why would I wanna do this. my previous cdi unit stator etc.. took a dump, and I had a spare pa50-1 motor
With points. Shouldn't I be able to just swap out without issues? Besides also using a new wire harness for the pa50-1. I did this I got great spark but it won't run just kinda backfires..and trys to break my wrist when using a drill on the crank. Are the cranks different on that side I know the clutch side is smaller/bigger. Is my timing off some how? Not sure if keyways Are located on the same spot on an pa50-1 and pa50-ii crank. Anyone have this experience?
